Ludo Board Game Rules & Instructions

Rolling a Six: To move a token out of the starting area, you must roll a six. Once a token is out, you can start moving it around the board.

Rolling the Dice: Each player rolls the die once per turn and moves one of their tokens according to the number rolled. Rolling a six allows you to roll again. However, if you roll six three times in a row, your turn is forfeited.

Movement: Tokens move clockwise around the board based on the die roll. You can move any of your tokens that are on the board.

Capturing Opponent’s Token: If your token lands on a square occupied by an opponent’s token, the opponent’s token is sent back to its starting area.

Safe Zones: Safe zones are colored squares on the board where tokens cannot be captured.

Entering Home Column: Once a token has completed a circuit of the board, it enters the home column. You need the exact number on the die to move a token into the home space.

Winning the Game: The first player to move all four tokens into the home space wins the game.
